Eastside Longboards is a locally owned and operated board manufacturer. Eastside offers a variety of board shapes for everything from cruising to Downhill. Each board is hand laminated using thin plys of ecologically harvested hard maple, birch, and bamboo with a specially formulated non-toxic water-proof glue, and pressed by hand in Portland. Description: After many prototypes, this is the latest edition of Eastside’s SpeedBoard. It has been vigorously ridden for 3 years now by our racing crew with several revisions and improvements. Made with 9 ply Maple for longevity that’s sturdy and stiff. In combination with the amazing drop – through truck design it takes full advantage of a lower center of gravity creating a super stable feel at high speeds. Features a gradual to sharp concave leading up to the edges creating a locked-in feel for excellent leverage in the corners. Also features a slightly wedged nose (5 degree) for tighter turns and a universal drop-through cutout allowing for most brands of trucks. The newest addition is the wider back edge with more concave to keep your back foot nestled in for the perfect tuck and for drifting corners crouched or stand up. Look for it on more podiums to come!
