Eastside Longboards is a locally owned and operated board manufacturer. Eastside offers a variety of board shapes for everything from cruising to Downhill. Each board is hand laminated using thin plys of ecologically harvested hard maple, birch, and bamboo with a specially formulated non-toxic water-proof glue, and pressed by hand in Portland. Description: Eastside’s latest version of the Slide Glove. These downhill skateboarding gloves are designed to slide on pavement and control power-slides. They protect your hands and give the rider more confidence to take steeper hills. The rugid cowhide leather is longlasting and the top part is a breathable mesh. The round One inch thick sliding puck is made of long lasting high-density composite plastic. The size and shape allows for smooth snag-free sliding while also allowing the rider to grab the board while sliding and allow dexterity. The pucks are mounted with hardware into a specially designed insert that is conformed to the palm and padded for extra shock absorbsion.
