Fabrication:This midweight fabric is 55% cantiva hemp/45%recycled PET polyester. It has a soft hand feel and a linen look. Hemp by nature is extremely durable and the use of Recycled PET Polyester from plastic bottles aids in preventing pollution. New this season, Holden was able to use a nonporous Water Based SOLVENT FREE laminate featuring a performance coating of 10,000mm waterproofness and 10,000g breathability.
Note: Most nonporous laminates need a solvent such as the chemical DMF to make the laminate functional. Solvent free laminates do not use DMF nor would require the collection process of DMF. Therefore less energy is used in making this garment.
